Tribhuvan Dahiya, J (Oral) This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to set up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) for arresting the accused in case FIR No.31 dated 05.04.2022 under Sections 363, 366-A, 380 IPC registered at Police Station, Jhabal (Tarn Taran). 2.
As per status reports dated 06.09.2022 and 10.04.2023, after investigation of the case, offences under Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, and Section 376 IPC were added. Final report under Section 173(2) Cr.P.C. against one of the accusedParamjit Singh has already been presented in Court on 21.11.2022, and charges have also been framed against him. The case is now fixed for examination of prosecution witnesses. It is further submitted that the other accused, Vijaypal Singh, could not be arrested despite raids having been AVIN KUMAR 2023.05.19 16:50 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment
2023:PHHC:072096 CRM No.M-35156 of 2022 [2] conducted. The efforts are on to arrest him, and thereafter, supplementary report under Section 173(8) Cr.P.C. will be presented. It is pointed by learned State counsel that the victim, in her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C., has stated that she was beaten up by her parents and wanted to stay with her husband-Vijaypal Singh.

In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances, no direction needs to be issued by this Court.
