State of Punjab and others ... Respondents
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AMIT RAWAL Present:- Mr. M.K.Sajjan, Advocate for the petitioner.
Mr. Yatinder Sharma, Addl.A.G.Punjab.
AMIT RAWAL J. (Oral) This Court called upon the petitioner to apprise about the locus standi with regard to filing of the objections against the enquiry report submitted by the Commissioner regarding the representation/complaint dated 28.06.2009.
Mr. M. K.Sajjan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the revenue record does not pertain to his ownership or land holding. It was a general complaint. The enquiry report of the Commissioner is totally against the factual aspect, therefore, the objections in this regard have been filed.
In the absence of any locus standi, I deem it appropriate that this writ petition cannot proceed further as it has not been filed in the public interest. The petitioner is at liberty to seek remedy in accordance with law Savita 2017.01.24 10:48 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court Chandigarh
CWP No.3075 of 2012 {2} but cannot seek the vindication of the grievance as indicated above. Even the effected person has a right for vindication of the grievance as per the provisions of Section 45 of Punjab Land Revenue Act. No ground is made out for interference in the impugned order. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed.
