Rakesh Kumar Jain, J. (oral) The only prayer made by the petitioner in the present petition is that the application filed by her under Section 111 of the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887 is not making any headway as no order is being passed by the Assistant Collector Ist Grade, Ludhiana.

After notice, learned counsel for the State has put in appearance and stated that this petition may be disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the application for partition, which is pending since long, within a period of six months.

This petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the application filed by the petitioner under Section 111 of the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887 for partition of the land within a period of six months from the date of passing of this order.
