(ORAL) Instant writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.1 to 4 to complete the inquiry against respondents No.5 to 7 in a time-bound manner. Heard.

Without going into the merits of the case and without issuing notice to the respondents at this stage, respondent No.2 - Director, Department of Rural Development and Panchayats, Punjab, is directed to supervise the inquiry being conducted against respondents No.5 to 7. The enquiry proceedings shall be conducted as early as possible. Disposed of.
