Learned State counsel contends that the selection in question has already been finalised in accordance with directions issued by the Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No. 7136 of 2022 titled Vikas Kumar and others v. State of Haryana and others. As per instructions received from the respondent/Commission, the petitioners have not been selected on account of being lower in the merit.

In view thereof, there is no ground to entertain the petition, and the same stands dismissed.
