*** Harsimran Singh Sethi, J. (Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking a direction to respondents No.2 and 3 on the ground that the petitioners have apprehension of threat to their life and liberty. As per the averments made in the petition, petitioner No.1 is the legally wedded wife of respondent No.4. Further, it has been stated in the petition that respondent No.4 is not ready to keep the petitioner No.1 in the matrimonial house and that is why, petitioner No.1 is living in a live-inrelationship with petitioner No.2. Nothing has been mentioned in the petition that since when, the petitioner No.1 is not living in her matrimonial home.
Further, no details of the threats has been mentioned in the NARESH KUMAR 2020.10.16 18:02 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
CRWP-8536 of 2020 -2present petition, which the petitioners have purported to have received from respondent No.4. In the absence of any details, merely a bald statement that petitioners have apprehension that they have threat to their life and liberty at the hands of respondents No.4, cannot be believed. Further, if the averments made in the petition are believed that respondent No.4 is not ready to keep the petitioner No.1 i.e. his legally wedded wife in the matrimonial home, why respondent No.4, will harass petitioner No.1 in case, she is living with petitioner No.2 In fact, the present petition is abuse of process of law and, therefore, the same is dismissed.
