  Prayer in the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for directing the respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the life and personal liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondent Nos.4 to 7.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has contended that son of the petitioner, namely, Karamjeet, aged about 20 years had an affair with a girl namely, Harshdeep d/o Vishal Kumar and left the residence on 10.05.2025 and thereafter he has not been contacted and his phone is switched off. He has further contended that respondent Nos.4 to 7 came to the house of the petitioner on 11.05.2025 while looking for their daughter namely, Harshdeep and alleged that the son of the petitioner allured their girl. Now, respondent Nos.4 to 7 are misbehaving with the petitioner and his family members and threatening them that in case, the girl is not recovered, then Jyoti 2025.05.23 15:39 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRWP-5425-2025 they would not spare the petitioner and his family member. Learned counsel for the petitioner has also contended that the petitioner had also filed representation dated 20.05.2025 (Annexure P-1) before the Senior Superintendent of Police, District Panchkula, Haryana, but till date no action has been taken.

During the course of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that he would be satisfied, in case, the pending representation (Annexure P-1) is decided by respondent No.2. Notice of motion.

Mr. Arjun Lakhanpal, Addl. A.G. Haryana, accepts notice and submitted that he has no objection if the aforesaid representation dated 20.05.2025(Annexure P-1) is decided.

In view of the above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-the Senior Superintendent of Police, Panchkula, to look into the representation dated 20.05.2025 (Annexure P-1), at the earliest, regarding threat perception and take necessary steps, if any required, in accordance with law, to ensure that the life and liberty of the petitioner is not jeopardized at the hands of the private respondents No.4 to

7. However, it will have no effect on any civil or criminal action, which could be initiated in the matter in accordance with law. Disposed of.
