**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) Case is being taken up for hearing through video conferencing. This is the second petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 6 dated 5.2.2021, registered under Sections 379, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC and Sections 21 and 23 of the Mines and Minerals (Regulartion and Development) Act, 1957, registered at Police Station Fatehgarh Panjtoor.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is neither a Director nor a Contractor of Prime Vision Industries Private Limited Compnay. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and he has not forged any receipts which are in possession of the prosecution agency.

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. It is a case in which the petitioner, being a Contractor of the firm, was granted a contract for mining under the permit/license of the GURPREET SINGH 2021.09.20 16:26 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh concerned Department but even after expiry of the said permit/license, he

CRM-M No. 38960 of 2021 -2continued the mining work by forging the receipts. The forged receipts were verified by the Mining Department and upon scanning of the Bar Code, these were found to be forged and fabricated. The petitioner is alleged to have conducted illegal mining by forging the documents and thereby caused loss to the State Exchequer. The allegations against the petitioner are serious in nature. Moreover, the earlier petition for anticipatory bail has been got dismissed as withdrawn on 08.7.2021. No ground for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made out.

The petition is dismissed.
