RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioner has approached this Court praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.1 to 3 to take action against erring officials, i.e. respondents No.4 to 7 as well as respondents No.8 to 15 for embezzlement of Panchayat Funds. It is also prayed to issue directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to decide the representations/complaints, Annexures P2, P4 and P5 and conclude the enquiry in view of their official letters, Annexure P3 (Colly), vide which they initiated the enquiry process but till date no conclusion came out due to the biased attitude of respondents No.5 to 7. After hearing counsel for the parties, it is apparent that petitioner has approached this Court for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to take action against the erring officials/respondents MEENU 2023.09.05 12:41 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

CWP-14177-2018 -2No.4 to 15 and decide the representations/complaints, dated 09.08.2017, 22.02.2018 and 24.04.2018, Annexures P2, P4 and P5 respectively. However, in view of the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before respondent No.2, i.e. Director, Department of Rural Development and Panchayat, Punjab, for redressal of his grievances, if any, within ten days from today and if he files the same within the stipulated period, then respondent No.2 would deal with the same and decide it expeditiously in accordance with law preferably within two months from the date of its receipt.
