The prayer in the present petition is for quashing the order dated 06.05.2019 (Annexure P-12).

Learned counsel submits that during pendency of the present petition, the promotion of the petitioner has taken place vide order dated 01.10.2020, however, not from the date when the rules were framed, with regard to which he would submit a representation to claim pay scale as per his entitlement, which may be directed to be decided in a time bound manner, to which learned State counsel has no objection.

In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents that in case petitioner submits a representation within a period of 4 weeks, the same shall be considered and decided, in accordance with law, expeditiously.
