CHANDIGARH Civil Writ Petition No.20442 of 2015 Date of Decision: September 24, 2015 Karam Chand and others .....Petitioners versus State of Punjab and others .....Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE SURYA KANT.

HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE P.B.BAJANTHRI.

Present: Mr.Amrik Singh, Advocate, for the petitioners. -.-

1. Whether Reporters of Local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?

2. To be referred to the Reporters or not?

3. Whether the judgment should be reported in the Digest? --- Surya Kant, J. (Oral) The petitioners are aggrieved by the warrant of possession issued on 13.07.2015 (P-2). Admittedly, it has been issued in furtherance of the eviction order which was passed ex-parte against the petitioners on 10.07.2011 by the Collector, Rupnagar in a petition filed by the Gram Panchayat, Village Tarapur, District Rupnagar under Section 7 of the Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Act, 1961 (for short, 'the 1961 Act'). The petitioners have thus got two remedies, i.e., either to move an application for recalling that order or they can file an appeal under the 1961 Act.
