JASWANT SINGH, J (ORAL) The petitioners, who were appointed either as Assistant Linemen or Linemen in various offices of the erstwhile Punjab State Electricity Board, are claiming the benefit of promotional increment on completion of 23 years of regular service in terms of the Policy (P.1 to P.3).

On the asking of the Court, Sh. Vikas Chatrath, Advocate had accepted notice on behalf of the respondents. At the time of hearing today, learned counsel for the petitioners prays for withdrawal of the present writ petition so as to file a fresh one by impleading the successor Punjab State Power Corporation Limited as the employer and furnishing full and correct particulars of the petitioners.
