AMIT RAWAL J. (Oral) Prayer in present writ petition is for issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari quashing order dated 11.03.2019 (Annexure P-5) passed by Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education, Haryana, Panchkula whereby petitioner has been sent on deputation from Government College Hisar to Government College Bhattu Kalan (Fatehabad) against respondent no.3, for completion of rural service.
Mr. Rajesh Bhateja, learned counsel contends that as per letter dated 09.10.2017 (Annexure P-2), petitioner has completed five years of rural service and submitted a representation dated 31.05.2019 (Annexure P-6) seeking the aforementioned relief but no decision has been taken so far. He further contends that petitioner, at this stage, would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.1 to consider and decide representation dated 31.05.2019 (Annexure P-6) within some specified time. CWP No.19043 of 2019 {2} In view of statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into merit of case or commenting thereon, present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to decide the representation dated 31.05.2019 (Annexure P-6) within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. In case, representation is not decided within aforementioned specified time, there shall be costs of Rs.50,000/- to be paid by the concerned officer to the petitioner.
