CWP No.21186 of 2014 (O&M) & -2CWP No.22297 of 2014 (O&M) At the very outset, learned counsel for respondent No.2 has informed that in view of the decision of the Departmental Promotion Committee in the Minutes of Meeting held on 12.04.2016, the petitioners have been exempted from Computer Test (practical test of having basic knowledge of computer including word processing at the speed of 30 wpm and spread sheets), subject to production of medical certificates from the Civil Surgeon that they are physically incapable of typing, under Rule 19

(4) of the High Court Establishment (Appointment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1973 and the present writ petitions have been rendered infructuous and the same may be disposed of as such. In view of the above, the instant writ petitions are hereby disposed of, as having become infructuous. At the same time, the respondents shall consider the petitioners in due course for the said post in accordance with law.
