(ORAL) In the present writ petition, petitioner has approached this Court for initiating action on the representations/complaints (Annexures P-2 to P-4), which he has submitted against respondent No.5 i.e. Sarpanch of village Khandra, Block Matlauda, District Panipat. Learned counsel for the petitioner argues that petitioner has highlighted certain irregularities/illegalities committed by the Sarpanch of villate Khandra, Block Matlauda, District Panipat, but no action is being

-2taken by the respondents on the same.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondentsState submits that the contention raised on behalf of the petitioner that no action is being taken by the respondents on the representations/complaints (Annexures P-2 to P-4), which have been submitted by the petitioner, is incorrect. Learned State counsel further submits that the said complaints have already been marked to the Block Development & Panchayat Officer, Matlauda, who is already conducting an enquiry on the same. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a direction is issued to the respondentsState to conclude the said enquiry in a time bound manner. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the enquiry, which is pending before the BDPO, Matlauda, will be finalized within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

It is made clear that while conducting the said enquiry, required opportunity of hearing to the concerned Sarpanch will be afforded by the authorities and the explanation so tendered by the Sarpanch will be dealt with while passing the order on the representations/complaints (Annexures P-2 to P-4) filed by the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement recorded on behalf of the respondents-State, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed and he does not want to press this writ petition any further and the same may be disposed of accordingly.

It is also made clear that the respondents-State will be bound by their statement, recorded hereinabove.
