Learned counsel for the petitioners has confined his submission only with regard to the incident dated 02.06.2019 as mentioned in his application (Annexure P-9) addressed to the police. He submits that the persons named in the application had entered her house armed with rifles, swords and other deadly weapons and threatened to kill her. Regarding the property dispute, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioners will avail civil remedy available to them.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala to look into the representation (Annexure P-9) of petitioners with regard to alleged incident of 02.06.2019, verify the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to petitioners from any action taken in any civil, criminal or any other proceedings initiated/pending against them in accordance with law.
