On our asking, Mr.R.D.Sharma, DAG, Haryana, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 and 2. Two copies of the paper-book has been handed over to him.

Heard.

The petitioners' land has been acquired by way of Award passed under the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (for short, `the New Act'). They put forth their claims for several other reliefs which include rehabilitation and resettlement in accordance with the provisions of the New Act. All such claims are required to be adjudicated by the Authority established by the appropriate Government, namely, the State Government under Section 51 of the New Act.

CWP-19581-2016 -2We, thus, dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the State of Haryana that if it has not set up the Authority keeping in view the qualifications prescribed in Section 53 of the New Act, it shall do the needful within one month. The petitioners are relegated to seek multiple reliefs as contained in this writ petition by approaching the appropriate Authority who shall make an endeavour to determine such claims within a period of six months from the date of its establishment.
