The petitioner was suspended w.e.f. the date of his arrest i.e. 16.2.2016 in case FIR dated 15.2.2016 for offences punishable under Sections 467, 468,471,420 IPC and 120-B IPC and Sections 13 (1)(d) and 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act. He was granted bail on 9.3.2016.

The prayer is for consideration for reinstatement in the light of instructions dated 21.9.1979(P-9) in view of the fact that no challan in the aforesaid FIR has been presented within six months from the date of suspension. It is claimed that a representation Annexure P-6 seeking similar relief has been made and no decision upon the same has been taken.

CWP 19613/2016 Vide order dated 21.9.2016 notice of motion was issued. Replies by way of affidavits dated 7.11.2016 of Ashwani Kumar,PPS,DSP(Vigilance Bureau Unit)Jalandhar and Inderjit Singh,Chief Agriculture Officer,Jalandhar have been filed on behalf of respondent no.1 and 2 to 4 respectively.

At the time of hearing today,learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the instant writ petition. Dismissed as withdrawn.
