**** RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK J. (ORAL) Feeling aggrieved against the sale deed dated 30.6.2003 (Annexure P-2), petitioners have approached this Court by way of present writ petition, under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the sale deed. They also seek a writ in the nature of Mandamus, directing Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepurrespondent No.2 to review the mutation. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

Apart from the material fact that petitioners have got no locus standi, whatsoever, to challenge the sale deed in question, inordinate delay of more than 13 years has gone completely unexplained. Neither the petitioners have filed any civil suit challenging the validity of sale deed in Amit Kumar 2016.09.24 10:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Civil Writ Petition No. 19633 of 2016 question nor they filed any appeal against the order sanctioning mutation in question, before the competent authority under the relevant provisions of Punjab Land Revenue Act.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners made repeated requests, praying that instead of dismissing the writ petition on merits with costs, he may be permitted to withdraw the same. Since learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he is a fresh entrant in the profession, his prayer for withdrawal of the writ petition is being accepted. This Court hope and trust that learned counsel for the petitioners would be meticulous in future, while preparing and filing any appropriate petition. With the abovesaid advisory note, request for withdrawal of the writ petition is accepted.

Permission sought is granted.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
