Jaswant Singh,J(Oral) Case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Assistant Engineer with effect from 29th October,2013,when his juniors were promoted, has been kept pending by the PSPCL vide impugned order dated 9th November,2015(P-17) in the light of issue of B.Tech degree awarded to the petitioner by Thapar University through Distance Education Mode being a subject matter of SLP Nos.35793 and 35796 of 2012 titled as Vijay Kumar v Kartar Singh pending in Hon'ble the Supreme Court. At the time of hearing, counsel for the petitioner prays for permission to withdraw the petition to await the decision of Hon'ble the Supreme Court in the aforesaid SLPs.
