(ORAL) Petitioner herein, inter alia, seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus seeking direction to the respondents to give compassionate appointment to petitioner No.2 against suitable post, in consideration of his eligibility, as per the policy of the Government. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that husband of petitioner namely, Ashok Kumar was working as Patwari with respondents and died in harness on 24.05.2018, leaving behind seven legal heirs. He further submits that deceased was the sole bread winner of his family. The petitioner applied for grant of job on compassionate grounds vide application dated 25.10.2018 (Annexure P-3) but the same has not been decided till date. Hence, the instant petition. Learned State counsel, on advance service, appears and submits that competent authority shall take appropriate decision on the pending application dated 25.10.2018 (Annexure P-3). 4.

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to look into the grievance of the petitioner as per application dated 25.10.2018 (Annexure P-3) and also by keeping in view the contentions raised in the present petition by treating the same as supplementary representation and take a decision, in accordance with law.

Let the needful be done within a period of three months from today.

Disposed of accordingly.
