The present petition is for grant of protection to the life and liberty of the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in fact, after filing the present petition, representation made by them has already been looked into.

At this stage, learned counsel for U.T. Chandigarh, submits that in fact, both the petitioners were called and they have voluntarily recorded their statements that there is no threat perception. It is submitted by learned counsel for U.T. Chandigarh that in fact, the petitioners informed their parents in the presence of Investigating Officer-ASI Deep Chand, who stated that they shall not harm the petitioners and accordingly, the statements were recorded.
