The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent No.2 to hold inquiry and initiate appropriate action against revenue officials and private respondents found guilty of forging agreement of family partition dated 14.02.2025.

As per pleadings, petitioner's mother passed away on 11.01.2025. Respondent No.5 in connivance with revenue officials executed partition agreement dated 14.02.2025 forging signatures of petitioner and his mother. Tehsildar, Dasuya on 28.02.2025 sanctioned mutation on the basis of forged partition agreement. The petitioner challenged aforesaid mutation. His appeal is still pending. He has been implicated in FIR No.237 dated 13.11.2025 at the behest of respondent No.5. The revenue officials and respondent No.5 are threatening him and DEEPAK BISSYAN 2026.05.19 17:49 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP-15690-2026 -2compelling to withdraw aforesaid appeal. He has preferred representation to Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur as well as lodged complaint with SSP, Hoshiarpur.

Learned State Counsel submits that jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner would look into the matter and take an appropriate action against the erring official(s).

In the wake of statement of learned State Counsel, the petition stands disposed of. Let the needful be done within three months from today. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case.
