(Oral) The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that the respondents are not following the provisions of "The Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995" in spite of giving of directions by Hon'ble the Apex Court.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner belongs to physically handicapped category and his case is not being considered in spite of the fact that total 76 posts have been filled up and no post has been given to disabled person like the petitioner. A detailed representation dated 08.08.2016 (Annexure P-17) has also been given by the petitioner but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel also submits that the petitioner would be satisfied in case, directions are issued to decide the representation within some specified period. In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and also the fact that the representation filed by the petitioner is Neetu Rani 2016.09.24 10:30 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh still pending, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to
CWP No.19669 of 2016 respondent No.3 to consider the representation (Annexure P-17) and pass necessary order by mentioning reasons in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
