Present:

Mr. Surinder Garg, Advocate for the petitioners. **** Anupinder Singh Grewal, J. (Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had been asked to pay an additional amount on account of Preferred Location Charges (PLC) for allotment of the plot. He had made the deposit under protest vide demand draft dated 08.11.2024. He submits that a similar petition bearing CWP9717-2019 titled Daulat Ram Bhatti Vs. State of Punjab and others, and other connected matters has been allowed on 20.02.2025 whereby the demand raised of additional PLC was quashed and further directions were issued to GMADA for the refund of the amount paid towards PLC by the petitioners therein. He further submits that he has sent a legal notice/representation dated 16.04.2025 (Annexure P-12) and prays that direction be issued to the respondents to consider and decide the same.

State of Punjab and others (supra).
