(ORAL) Petition herein, inter alia, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing the respondents to prepare merit list of the candidates selected for interview for the post of Staff Nurse pursuant to the advertisement dated 28.04.2017. 2.

In the return filed by the State inter alia following stand has been taken:- "5. That it is submitted that since the State Government received several complaints against the above selection and court cases had also been filed against the selection. It was noticed that some of the selected candidates had given wrong information regarding their qualification, experience and category of reservation and hence the selection had become vitiated. Therefore, selection of above mentioned candidates was scrapped by the State Government on 24.10.2017. It is also submitted that the State Government also decided to re-advertise the posts and also directed the selection would be based upon a screening test as per revised instructions. "
