ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Learned State counsel, at the outset, submits that per her instructions, the respondent-department has decided to treat the non-petitioners at par with the petitioners in terms of the order dated 09.09.2010 passed by this Court. The claim of the petitioners herein, who were appointed on adhoc basis prior to 1986, will thus be settled by treating their case as covered matter. The consequential benefits, admissible to the petitioners, per S.K.Mishra's case, by virtue of order dated 09.09.2010 be also allowed to the petitioners as per Rules and Scheme of the Department. To implement said order dated 09.09.2010, since a fresh seniority list will have to be prepared by respondent department, sufficient time for the needful is being sought.

In view of the aforesaid administrative decision taken by the competent authority, which has been conveyed to the petitioners, the present petition is rendered infructuous.

Disposed of accordingly.

In the parting, it is directed the respondents/competent authority shall proceed in terms of an order, ibid, to prepare seniority list, within a period of 6 months from today.
