G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) Admittedly, the petitioner has been removed from Government service by the Collector, Sonepat on 30.01.2017 (Annexure P-13) on account of conviction recorded by the Additional Sessions Judge, Sonepat under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (in short 'the Act'). He was sentenced to 3 years rigorous imprisonment alongwith fine of Rs.10,000/- under Section 7 of the Act and resultantly keeping in view Article 311(2)(a) of the Constitution of India, the impugned order has been passed. Counsel submits that the present petition be dismissed at this stage with liberty to raise the grievance in case there is any order of acquittal in the appeal filed.
Dismissed with the abovesaid liberty.
