(The aforesaid presence is being recorded through video conferencing since the proceedings are being conducted in virtual court) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of direction to the respondents to fix the correct pay scale at par with his counter parts i.e. Rs.28700/- and Gross pay Rs.37515/- per month as on May 2020-21 and arrears accrued thereupon along with interest @ 15% per annum. The main grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No.5 is not paying the correct pay scale to the petitioner despite making several request time and again. He also served the legal notice dated 21.11.2019, but till date, no action has been taken by the concerned authority.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied, if direction is issued to the respondents to decide legal notice dated 21.11.2019 (Annexure P-9), in a time-bound manner. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and after perusing the paper-book, but without commenting on merits of the case, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent-authority, to look into the grievances unfolded in the present writ petition along with legal notice (P-9) and decide the same within a period of two weeks positively from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, keeping in view the fact that the petitioner is going to retire in the month of December 2020.
