On 08.07.2024, this Court noticed that an innocuous prayer has been made in the writ petition, whereby the petitioner has sought issuance of mandamus directing the respondents to upload the details of his driving license on Parivahan Sarathi website.

Despite grant of repeated opportunities on request of the State counsel, needful has not been done.

State counsel has filed a short reply by way of affidavit of Regional Transport Officer, SAS Nagar (Mohali) on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2, stating that needful has to be done by the office of respondent No.3, but there is no response from him.

In view of above, writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3, to upload the details of the driving license of the petitioner on Parivahan Sarathi website, within a period of six weeks, from the date of communication of this order.
