The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking direction to respondents No. 2 & 3 to conduct fair and impartial investigation in FIR No. 255 dated 07.09.2014 under Sections 302, 307, 34 IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act registered at Police Station Jodowal, Ludhiana.

Learned State counsel in compliance of order dated 10.11.2022 has filed status report by way of affidavit of Maninder Bedi, Assistant Commissioner of Police (North), District Police Commissionerate Ludhiana, which is taken on record.

Learned State counsel while drawing attention of this Court to paragraph No. 4 of the status report, has submitted that during investigation respondent No.5 was not found involved in the alleged occurrence as a SATYAWAN 2023.07.21 11:05 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Criminal Misc.No.M-33242 of 2020 -2- 2023:PHHC:092142 result which he has been placed in column No. 2. It has been further submitted that as far as respondent No.6 is concerned, he has absconded and since been declared a proclaimed offender vide order dated 04.08.2015 passed by Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Ludhiana. In view of the status report filed by the State, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the instant petition and seeks to withdraw the same.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
