***** JASPAL SINGH, J By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ especially in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to grant military services benefits w.e.f the date of his initial joining on adhoc basis in civil department instead of from the date of his regularization in civil department 2.
At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits petitioner approached the respondents by way of representation dated 16.07.2016 (Annexure P-1) followed by legal notice dated 29.03.2017 (Annexure P-2) but till date neither any response has been received nor any decision has been taken by them. He further submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent No.2 to decide legal notice (P-2), within a stipulated period.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No.2-Director, Public Relation Department, Haryana, Chandigarh to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioner in legal notice (Annexure P-2) and to decide the same, within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

In case, the petitioner still feels aggrieved against any of the order(s) passed by the concerned authority, he shall be at liberty to have recourse to the other remedies available under law including filing of writ petition.
