RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J. (ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying for quashing of case FIR No.20, dated 06.02.2020, under Sections 498A, 406 IPC, registered at Police Station Women, Sector 17, Chandigarh, or to direct respondent Nos.1 and 3 to complete the investigation in specified time frame.

FIR in question has been registered on 06.02.2020. It has been contended that till date no progress in investigation is made out and, thus, the same deserves to be concluded expeditiously. Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr.Abhinav Gupta, APP, UT, Chandigarh, accepts notice on behalf of official respondents whereas Mr.Aashutosh Jerath, Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.2.
