(Oral) Both these petitions have been filed for seeking quashing of FIR bearing No.0023 dated 30.01.2023 registered under Sections 447, 420, 120B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and cross case bearing DDR No.020 dated 21.12.2025 both at Police Station Lehra, District Sangrur, along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.

Status report dated 04.05.2026 by way of an affidavit of Palwinder Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division, Lehra, District Sangrur has been filed on behalf of the respondent/State in CRM-M-4110-2026 today in the Court. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submit that during the pendency of the present petitions, at the time of final report, certain new Sections have been added in the present case. They thus pray for withdrawal of the present petitions so as to file fresh petitions on the same cause of action with better particulars.

In view of the above, the present petitions are disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid.

Since the main petitions already stand disposed of, CRM-85732026 in CRM-M-4110-2026 seeking staying of further proceedings arising from present FIR as well as the cross case, has been rendered infrcutous and is disposed of as such.
