This is an application for withdrawal of the main writ petition on the ground that the charge-sheet issued to the petitioner has since been withdrawn vide order dated 17.06.2020 (Annexure P-13). Notice in the application.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Nikhil Chopra, Addl. AG Punjab has joined the session through video conferencing and accepts notice on behalf of the non-applicant/respondents Learned counsel for the non-applicant/respondents states that he has no objection in case the petition is dismissed as withdrawn. For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed. With the consent of both the learned counsel, the main case is taken on board today itself.
