By virtue of instant petition, preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to produce complete record of the case and to count the service rendered by her as Principal in Chanan Devi, Memorial High School, Ludhiana from 21.09.1979 to 31.03.1994, before being taken over by government and also pay arrears of pensionary benefits. 2.

At the very outset of the arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though petitioner served demand notice dated 29.08.2017 (P-1) upon the respondents but till date no conscious decision has been taken. He further submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent No.2 to decide aforesaid demand notice, within a stipulated period 3.

However, if the petitioner still feels aggrieved against any of the order(s) passed by the concerned authority, she shall be at liberty to have recourse to the remedies available under law as well as to approach this Court.
