The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to correct the sale deed No.2433 dated 24.08.1978. He further seeks direction to the respondent to decide his representation dated 11.11.2025. 2.

The petitioner is a resident of Ward No.7, Panipat. His grandfather purchased plot No.346, Ward No.7, Panipat vide sale deed No.2434 dated 24.08.1978. The aforesaid plot was transferred in his father's name. He along with his brother became owner of the plot after demise of his father. He applied for certified copy of sale deed dated 24.08.1978 and came to know that plot No.346 does not relate to sale deed No.2433 whereas correct sale deed is 2434. He submits that the same has been wrongly mentioned instead of sale deed No.2433 in the DEEPAK BISSYAN 2026.05.19 17:49 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP-15658-2026 -2transfer deed No.344 dated 17.04.2015 vide which the said plot was transferred in the name of his father. His father passed away on 14.04.2025. He came to know that plot No.346 is registered in the revenue records under sale deed No.2433 instead of sale deed No.2434. He filed a spate of representations to respondent-authorities to record the sale deed No.2434 instead of 2433. The Deputy Commissioner, Panipat vide letter dated 10.02.2026 forwarded the representation to Tehsildar but the same has not been addressed till date.

Learned State Counsel at the outset submit that as admitted by petitioner, there is clerical error in the sale deed. The competent authority would look into petitioner's grievance within six weeks from today and endeavour to address positively in accordance with law. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner agrees to the aforesaid arrangement.

In the wake of statement of both sides, the petition stands disposed of.
