**** AJAY KUMAR MITTAL, J. (Oral) The primary grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for quashing the election of Ward No.29, where respondent No.6 has been declared winner. It has been averred in the writ petition that respondent No.6 was not eligible for filling up the nomination form for the post of Member of Municipal Committee, as she has not cleared the rent for Shop No.276 i.e. amounting to `8412/- on the date of submission of her nomination form.
2.
From the perusal of the writ petition, it is revealed that the matter involves the questions of fact, which are required to be proved by the petitioner by way of leading evidence and therefore, writ petition is not the appropriate remedy.
3.
Dismissed.
