The petitioners have filed the instant writ petition on an apprehension that the Gram Panchayat is likely to dispossess them forcibly from the land under their occupation, which is claimed to be owned by them.
It is difficult from the material on record to infer that there is any attempt to forcibly dispossess the petitioners. However, if there is any such move, they may approach the BDPO/DDPO to look into the matter in accordance with law.
