(ORAL) By way of present petition filed under Section 438 CrPC, prayer has been made for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.173 dated 02.08.2020 registered under Sections 420 & 120-B IPC and Section 13 of the Punjab Travel Professionals (Regulation) Act, 2014 (offences under Sections 467, 468 and 471 of IPC added later on) at P.S. Lopoke, District Amritsar.

On 18.12.2023, the matter was ordered to be placed before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court for the purpose of settlement. Today, both the learned counsels are ad idem that a settlement has been arrived at between the parties and merely an amount of Rs.2,35,000/- remains to be paid by the petitioner which shall be released within a period of one month.

In view thereof, once the parties have already entered into settlement, the interim protection granted in favour of petitioner vide order dated 01.08.2023 is hereby made absolute.
