Mr. R.K. Arora, Advocate, for the petitioner. G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) Counsel inter alia contends that the petitioner, who was working as a Clerk in the office of Block Primary Education Officer (BPEO)-II, Jalandhar, has been placed under suspension but his headquarter has been fixed in the office of the Director, Public Instructions (Secondary Education), SAS Nagar, Punjab vide impugned order dated 14.05.2018 (Annexure P-1). It is submitted that it would entail a lot of difficulties for the purpose of reporting.

Notice of motion.

Mr. Kanisth Ganeriwala, AAG, Punjab accepts notice. Accordingly, it will be open to the petitioner to file an appropriate representation with the competent authority regarding the refixation of his headquarters during his suspension period within a period of 5 days from today. The appropriate authority will accordingly take steps keeping in view the difficulty the employee may face for commuting between SAS Nagar to Jalandhar. Till then, the petitioner shall report in the office of the District Education Officer (Secondary Education), Jalandhar till the appropriate decision is taken.
