(ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after various rounds of litigation, eventually vide the order dated 17.05.2016, Annexure P-17, the petitioners' services were regularized on the post of a Booking Clerk, with effect from 01.11.1986 instead of 01.02.1996. However, despite more than nine years of seniority having been given to him in the cadre of Booking Clerks, his case for further promotion to the post of Sub Inspector and Inspector is not being considered by the respondents. Without making any further comment at this stage, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.2, i.e. the Director General, State Transport, Haryana, to treat this writ petition as a representation and to pass a speaking order on the petitioners' claim for promotion as a Sub Inspector and Inspector, on the basis of his date of regularization being changed to 01.11.1986.
