G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) Admittedly, the petitioner is seeking information regarding the number of vacancies in the sportsmen category. Under the Right to Information Act, 2005 (in short 'the Act'), the petitioner has a legal remedy. Therefore, the claim as such to decide the legal notice is misconceived.

Faced with this situation, counsel does not press the present writ petition with liberty to avail alternative remedy under the Act. Ordered accordingly.
