G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) The petitioner's grouse is that her result of B.Ed. Examination for the session 2013-14 is not being declared by respondent no. 1university. It is alleged that she done her B.A. by way of regular mode from the EIILM University, Sikkim as per verification form (Annexure P-1). She has also approached the university on 10.03.2015 (Annexure P-3) for the declaration of the result.
It is not disputed that in cases of students who have studied by way of regular mode, the university has already taken a policy decision dated 20.02.2014 wherein, the university in principle has decided to take a decision on the documents submitted and give benefit to the students who produced reliable material of having studied by way of regular mode and to declare the result in such cases. An order to this extent has also been passed in a bunch of cases by this Court, the lead case of which is CWP No. 9553 of 2014, Shivani Gupta vs. Kurukshetra University and another on 24.08.2015 (Annexure P-4).
In such circumstances, the present writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the University and get the necessary relief in the above terms. University, will submit the necessary proof and the university will examine the said documents submitted and in case the documents satisfy the university, the university shall declare the result of the petitioner as per its policy decision noted above. In case the relief is to be denied, the reasons will be supplied to the petitioner.
