(ORAL) The petitioner herein has approached this Court under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing order dated 12.12.2017 (P-4) issued by respondent No.2 whereby absent period of the petitioner has been treated as dies non. Learned counsel for the petitioners herein would contend that he would be satisfied in case mercy appeal of the petitioner dated 23.10.2019 (Annexure P-5) is decided by respondent No.1 within a stipulated time frame.

Ms. Kirti Singh, DAG, Haryana, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and would submit that official respondents will look into the matter.

Without commenting on merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.1 to decide mercy appeal of the petitioner dated 23.10.2019 (Annexure P-5) within a period of PANKAJ KUMAR 2022.08.10 10:49 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
