RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of appropriate writ, order or direction to respondent Nos.3 and 4 to protect life, liberty and property of the petitioner and further to take action in accordance with law on the complaints submitted by the petitioner, dated 22.04.2022 and 28.07.2022, Annexures P1 and P-2, respectively, to direct respondent No.5 not to interfere in the life and liberty of the petitioner and to comply with the provisions of Section 41A r/w 160 Cr.P.C. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if his representation, dated 28.07.2022, Annexure P-2, is decided in a time bound manner.

On the asking of the Court, Mr.Rakeshinder Singh Sidhu, AAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents.

In view of the prayer made in the petition, the same is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3, i.e. Senior Superintendent of Police, Batala, to look into the representation, dated 28.07.2022, Annexure P-2 and decide the same in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and preferably within one month from today.
