Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner vide representation dated 08.04.2019 has levelled allegations that ASI Narinder Pal, had demanded `15,000/- under threat of involving him in a false case. His representation was not taken care and later on FIR No.65 dated 08.05.2019 was registered against the petitioner, which is being investigated by same ASI. Giving up remaining relief sought in this petition, he confines his submission only for direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Rupnagar to look into his representations (Annexure P-4 and P-6) and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Rupnagar to look into the representation Annexure P-4 and P-6 made by petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law on receipt of copy of this order.
