(ORAL) On 19.7.2019, the following order was passed:- "After hearing learned counsel for the parties and keeping in view Annexure P-2, which is a signed settlement between Nazar Singh and Kulwant Singh, this Court is of the view that the petitioner deserves to be directed to join the investigation.

Notice of motion for 17.09.2019.

On asking of this Court, Ms. Rajni Gupta, Sr. DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the State. In the meantime, in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on interim bail subject to RAJ KUMAR ARORA 2019.09.17 16:43 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-29953-2019 furnishing personal bonds and surety to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and shall abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C."

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Lawinder Singh, submits that the petitioner in this case has already joined the investigation, cooperated and not required for further custodial interrogation. In view thereof, interim order dated 19.7.2019 passed by this Court is made absolute.
