On our asking, Mr.Anil Mehta, learned Deputy Advocate General, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

Let four copies of the writ petition be supplied to the State counsel during the course of day failing which this order shall be automatically recalled and the writ petition shall be deemed to have been dismissed for non-prosecution. In view of the nature of order which we propose to pass, it is not necessary to seek any counter-reply from the respondents at this stage.

The grievance of the petitioners is that their names ought to have been entered in the voter list of village Jagoli, Tehsil and District Ambala instead of village Shekhupura as MOHINDER KUMAR 2015.10.06 11:38 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CWP No.20944 of 2015 [2] they are bonafide residents of village Jagoli and not village Shekhupura.

Since the above-stated question can be answered after a fact-finding enquiry, we dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer, Ambala to ascertain the correct facts and take an appropriate decision on the petitioners' representations dated 18.06.2015 and 31.07.2015 as early as possible and before the ensuing Gram Panchayat elections.

Ordered accordingly.
