The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a roving writ in the nature of habeas corpus seeking production and recovery of the detenue namely Prince (aged about 16 years), from the illegal custody of respondent no. 4, who has unlawfully detained him.

Learned State counsel has informed that the alleged detenue is in judicial custody of the Juvenile Justice Board. 3.
